Sarah Goodall has received a cash grant for The Athena Programme to enable the company to branch out into new premises.

Sarah successfully applied for funding from the Rural Lancashire Development Fund and Rosebud Finance.

“The business was doing really well but we had outgrown our old office premises because I had taken on new staff.  I applied to Rosebud Finance and the Rural Lancashire Development Fund to secure the resources I needed to grow the business and create more jobs for local people”, said Sarah.

“I had seen potential office space in Clitheroe and felt this was ideal for us.  I want to keep the business local to match our carbon footprint and support the local economy.  I can’t wait to move in to our new offices, although there will be a lot of renovation work to be done first.

“The people at the Rural Lancashire Development Fund and Rosebud Finance couldn’t have been more helpful.  They made the task of applying for the funding straightforward.  I’m really grateful for all their support and help.”

Sarah plans to move into the new offices of The Athena Programme in June.
