Louise is a highly experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse and Designated Nurse for Adult Safeguarding. With over a decade of experience in strategic leadership roles within the NHS, Louise has developed an exceptional understanding of the strategic health and multi-agency safeguarding systems, alongside a strong foundation in legal literacy, safeguarding assurance and organisational safeguarding governance.

Committed to the whole family safeguarding agenda, Louise is dedicated to shaping and influencing safeguarding systems to promote a holistic, person-centered and trauma-informed approach. Her expertise encompasses policy development, system leadership, and multi-agency collaboration, ensuring that safeguarding frameworks are robust, effective, and responsive to the needs of vulnerable individuals and communities. Louise brings versatility, expert sector knowledge, and a strong commitment to excellence in safeguarding practice. Her leadership and expertise ensures that organisations remain compliant, forward-thinking, and effective in delivering high-quality safeguarding outcomes.

Louise has specific interests in undertaking safeguarding audits and reviews, organisational safeguarding,  quality improvements, statutory inspections and reflective safeguarding supervision.

Aside from work, Louise’s interests are music-focused, travelling and exploring Bulgaria.
