Sarah Goodall is Shortlisted for IoD North West Director of the Year Awards 2011!

We are over the moon to announce that Sarah Goodall, founding Managing Director for The Athena Programme, has been shortlisted for the prestigious Institute of Directors North West Director of the Year Awards 2011.

The Awards, now entering their eighth year, are an important part of the business calendar in the North West – celebrating the people that are bringing prosperity to the region.  The Awards are part of a drive to promote and support excellence in company leadership and this year regional winners will go forward to a UK Awards ceremony – taking on the cream of the UK’s Directors in the National Finals.

Sarah says:

“It’s an incredible honour to be shortlisted – the competition for this Award is extremely tough.  I’m really proud and excited to think that my leadership and management skills have been recognised in this way.”

The short-listed candidates will be invited for a personal interview during June, after which the independent Judging panel will then meet in July to assess the entries and decide on the finalists.

Finalists will then be invited to a glittering Gala Dinner Awards Ceremony, to be held on 6th October at the Hilton Hotel, Deansgate, Manchester.  Winners of these awards will be put forward to the National Director of the Year Awards in 2012.
