Liz

Liz is a retired Police Constable who worked within a domestic abuse unit and sexual offences investigation teams. She then became a trainer at Hendon’s Crime Academy, teaching specialist officers in their roles and responsibilities for Safeguarding. Throughout her career she has always had a victim lead approach.

She received a commendation by the Metropolitan police for her work in re-writing, developing, and delivering the sexual offences investigating techniques course. This was then accepted by the College of Policing and is now accepted as best practice.   

Liz is mum to two teenage girls and in her spare time is a Guide leader and enjoys inspiring young girls to become independent and learn new skills.  Although she does not particularly enjoy the annual camping trip – why give up a good bed?

Her hobbies are holidays, cycling, walking and spa days.
