At the Athena Programme we passionately believe that everyone has the right to be valued equally, and treated fairly, without barriers fear or prejudice. This belief is supported in every piece of work we undertake for example writing training materials, delivering training or development or policy and procedures This is an ethos which underpins and drives everything we do when working in partnership with you and your organisation. From initial communication to completed pieces of work we will embrace the uniqueness of your organisation, your staff / volunteers and those you provide a service to with a dignified and respectful approach.
The Athena Programme will:
– Maintain and monitor an up to date Equality, Diversity and Inclusion policy.
– Communicate our commitment to the above statement to all we work with.
– Reflect on feedback from you in relation to EDI issues.
– Support you and your organisation to develop safeguarding approaches which value EDI.
– Ensure all of our training and consultancy materials reflect our EDI values.
– Approach all you and those within your organisation in a dignified and
respectful manner.
– Offer appropriate and supportive challenge to customer safeguarding
arrangements which do not value EDI.
– Review and evaluate our approach to EDI as required.
