Kate

Kate is a passionate, driven and highly skilled investigator with over 30 years of dedicated service in law enforcement, including 15 years specialising in child protection, criminal exploitation, and safeguarding vulnerable individuals. As a retired Detective Inspector with Lancashire Constabulary, Kate managed complex investigations, demonstrating resilience, calmness under pressure and a commitment to justice.

Renowned for leading multi-agency teams tackling child exploitation, domestic abuse and serious organised crime. Kate excelled in chairing high-profile exploitation meetings, devising safeguarding strategies and securing prosecutions against perpetrators of significant harm.

Kate was also a Deputy Lead for Family liaison supporting bereaved families of homicide and supporting survivors of serious abuse including stalking and harassment, violence against women and girls and serious sexual offences.

In Kate’s spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and baking and we enjoy indulging in these treats too.
